General Summary of Duties:
The Data Analyst is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data from various sources within Reliance Management Services to identify trends, patterns, and insights. This role will help inform better decision-making to improve patient care, operational efficiency, and overall healthcare quality. The position uses data to guide healthcare strategies and practices.
Essential Functions:
- Design and implement clinical data collection processes (PACS, RIS, EMR, Unified worklist software) and research methodologies.
- Conduct statistical analyses and interpret data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform business and clinical decisions.
- Develop, analyze, and implement data warehouse and data marts to support enterprise data initiatives.
- Utilize statistical analysis, data visualization tools, and predictive modeling to extract meaningful insights.
- Optimize ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) data processes, supporting data mining, and providing enterprise-wide reporting capabilities.
- Lead data conversion and system migration efforts to ensure data accuracy.
- Develop quality control procedures to ensure efficient processing of data.
- Work collaboratively with multiple departments while maintaining privacy and confidentiality.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Education/Experience Required:
- Bachelor’s degree (preferably in a quantitative field), or Associate’s degree with certifications in data analytics.
- 1-2 years of experience in data analysis.
- Minimum of 1 years of experience with PowerBI software.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
- Proven ability to work independently on complex data management and analysis projects.
- SQL database experience.
Preferred:
- Experience with relational databases.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in data analysis software, particularly PowerBI.
- Knowledge of healthcare terminology and coding systems (ICD, CPT).
- Experience with data visualization.
- Understanding of healthcare regulations and privacy laws (HIPAA compliance).
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.

- Work is performed remotely with the ability to come onsite as needed.
