SCHEDULER
Full-time (On-Site, Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm)
Tallahassee, FL
The premier imaging center in Tallahassee is seeking customer service superstars to join our team.
We offer a fully paid training program that will give you the skills you need to work in medical scheduling. (Daily attendance is mandatory during the training period and important to your success in this position). After training, pay increases are available to employees who perform well and maintain strong attendance.
This position includes:

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Answers a high volume of inbound patient calls and makes outbound calls to schedule medical exams.
- Verifies and updates patient demographic and insurance information in the Radiology Information System.
- Maintains and updates technologist schedules ensuring that patients are scheduled properly and appointments are confirmed.
- Advises patients on preparations needed for each exam.
- May be required to Interpret physician orders to ensure the proper exam is being scheduled. Occasionally contacts physician offices to request additional information or revised orders.
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Requirements
REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION:
High school graduation or GED.
EXPERIENCE:
One year work experience in a position requiring customer service.
Skill in operating a computer and copy machine.
Skill in answering the telephone in a pleasant and helpful manner and using a multi-line telephone system.
ABILITIES:
Ability to attend work regularly is critical to success in this position.
Ability to speak clearly and concisely.
Ability to read, understand, and follow oral, and written instruction.
Ability to sort and file materials correctly by alphabetic or numeric systems.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, employees, and the public.
