- Summary of Position:
- This company has an immediate opening for a salaried Full-time Healthcare Sales Specialist for Radiology & Imaging, Corpus Christi, Texas. We are looking for a talented individual possessing experience in selling services in the healthcare industry. This individual must be confident in their sales skills and develop relationships that enhance volume. We are also looking for an individual who has a proven documented track record of sales success and the ability to enhance new and existing business. Our sales specialist must be a problem solver, communicate effectively and efficiently, both verbally and in written format, and have a keen sense of listening. The ideal candidate is a fast learner with a demonstrated ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment utilizing a contact management system and Microsoft office to enhance communication in developing internal and external customers. We also need someone who is self-motivated, dependable, mature, has a good work ethic, maintains a professional attitude and is a team player.
On-boarding classroom sales training will occur with the Chief Marketing Officer. Overnight travel may be required from time-to-time. Field training will occur both in assigned sales territory and with sales trainers in his or her assigned territory.
- Essential Duties:
Manage the business development process by visiting a variety of referral sources in the market to make professional presentations and generate volumes for various imaging modalities.
Carry out visits daily, both scheduled and cold calls, to current key referral prospects to generate incremental volumes as well as introduce technical applications and equipment.
Utilize strategic and conceptual selling skills to maximize potential from referral source relationships.
Maintain historical call activity with the organization’s contact management system.
Analyze local market demographics to help support the development of new referrals and annual business plans.
Responds to referral complaints and/or suggestions in a timely manner.
Plan and develop new programs/services in conjunction with appropriate staff, and based on market intelligence, monitor program performance to measure projected outcomes/ROI. Report on progress as directed.
Complete and submit all reports in a timely manner.
· Requirements:
- Document sales experience required; healthcare sales preferred.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Office. Experience with a contact management system preferred.
- Must be proficient at analyzing sales reports.
- Ability to multi-task during the day as well as establish long-term relationships with referral office personnel.
- Description:
- This position’s priority task is visiting medical providers and attorneys in the assigned Corpus Christi market on a daily basis to generate volumes across the various imaging modalities at the imaging center.
- After-hours and weekend networking events are typical and often required.
- This position also has weekly tasks of providing various organizations and offices with customer service activities as well as marketing and public relations support for the community.There are also daily and weekly administrative tasks on reporting activities, that are to be completed outside of prime selling hours.
- Education:
- A bachelor’s degree is preferred or three years of documented experience in healthcare sales.
- Bi-lingual in Spanish a plus in the market, but not necessary.
