About Us : Radisson Portland Airport Hotel offers a welcoming and convenient stay for travelers. Situated close to Portland International Airport, our hotel provides top-notch amenities and services to ensure a comfortable experience for both business and leisure guests. With a focus on exceptional customer service and a dedication to guest satisfaction, we strive to make every stay memorable.
Summary : Provide professional and courteous customer service to hotel guests by performing the following duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
Greet, register, and assign rooms to guests in a friendly manner.
Obtain guest identification and credit approval.
Answer telephones, route calls, and make reservations.
Provide information on hotel services, local attractions, and travel details.
Fulfill special guest requests and manage complaints.
Post charges, compute bills, and handle payments.
Handle guest mail and messages.
Communicate with the next shift and perform other duties as assigned.
Additional Responsibilities :
Keep work area neat and organized.
Conduct yourself professionally.
Maintain a safe working environment and report unsafe conditions.
Maintain good relationships with all departments.
Comply with policies and procedures from the Employee Handbook.
Qualifications :
High school diploma or GED.
1-3 months of related experience or training.
Ability to read, write, and speak effectively.
Basic math skills.
Ability to follow instructions and solve problems.
Knowledge of reservation systems and basic computer skills.
Physical Demands :
Occasionally stand, walk, use hands, and talk or hear.
Occasionally lift / move up to 25 pounds.
