Banquet Lead

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Shift Leader to oversee daily operations in our dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences. As a Shift Leader, you will be responsible for managing staff, ensuring high-quality service, and maintaining operational standards within the food service industry.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of team members during shifts to ensure efficient operations.
• Provide training and support to staff in areas such as food preparation, guest relations, and hospitality best practices.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, adhering to health and safety regulations.
• Assist in food preparation and service during peak hours, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
• Handle guest inquiries and concerns with professionalism, striving for exceptional customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with management on scheduling, inventory control, and catering events as needed.
• Monitor inventory levels of supplies and report needs to management to ensure smooth operations.
• Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and employee engagement.
• Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time or for an entire work shift.
• Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance.
• Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
• Move through narrow, confined, or elevated spaces.
• Move up and down stairs and/or service ramps.
• Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
• Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.

Experience

• Previous experience in a leadership role within the food industry or hospitality sector is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of food service operations including bussing, catering, bartending, and banquet management.
• Excellent communication skills with a focus on guest relations and team collaboration.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• A background in food preparation or related fields is advantageous.
