Job Responsibilities of the Pharmacist
As a member of the pharmacy team, you will :
- Dispensing and Compliance :
Accurately dispense medications in compliance with all state and federal regulations, including DEA, PQAC, and HRSA requirements.
Provide patient consultations to ensure safe and effective medication use.
Oversee and train pharmacy personnel, ensuring compliance with scope of practice.
Manage inventory, monitor controlled substances, and assist in the selection and storage of medications.
Engage in outreach programs and contribute to the health and wellness of the local population.
Position Highlights
Requirements for the Pharmacist Position
Completion of a Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD from an accredited program.
Active Washington State Pharmacist License with no restrictions.
Prior experience in an ambulatory or clinical pharmacy setting is preferred.
