Key Outcomes
Accurate Forecasts & Budgets - Deliver rolling forecasts and annual budgets to enable proactive course‑correction
Actionable Business Insights - Produce monthly dashboards and KPIs that highlight trends, risks, and opportunities, accelerating leadership decision‑making cycles
Strategic Financial Models - Build and maintain scenario‑based models (LTV/CAC, pricing, M&A, and capital‑raise models) that inform board‑level strategy and resource deployment
Cost & Margin Optimization - Identify annual savings or margin expansion through analytics‑driven recommendations on spend, pricing, and product mix
Key Responsibilities
- FP&A Leadership - Make impactful contributions to budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis process, partnering with department heads to set and track financial targets
- Data‑Driven Modeling - Develop robust models in Excel/Sheets and/or financial modeling tools (Adaptive, Anaplan) covering revenue, headcount, SaaS metrics, and cash flow
- KPI Tracking & Dashboarding - Design executive‑level dashboards (Tableau, Power BI, Looker) that surface MRR/ARR, churn, expansion, and unit economics
- Strategic Partnering - Provide financial guidance on strategy, product ROI, and capital allocation; prepare materials for board meetings and investor updates
- Process Improvement - Streamline month‑end close inputs, automate data pulls (SQL, Python) where needed, and elevate reporting accuracy and speed
- Cross‑Functional Collaboration - Work with SalesOps, RevOps, and Data teams to align source data and ensure single‑source‑of‑truth metrics
- Compliance & Controls - Support audit readiness, implement SOX‑aligned controls, and ensure adherence to GAAP/ASC 606
What You Bring
Experience
- 5-8 years in FP&A, corporate finance, or investment banking-preferably in SaaS, tech, or data‑centric businesses
- Demonstrated success influencing C‑suite decisions through financial storytelling and quantitative analysis
Skills
- Advanced proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets modeling and scenario analysis
- Comfortable extracting and manipulating data via SQL or BI tools (Looker, Tableau, Power BI)
- Strong grasp of SaaS metrics (ARR, NRR, LTV/CAC, gross margin) and revenue recognition (ASC 606)
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to distill complex financial concepts into actionable insights for non‑finance stakeholders
- Experience with ERP and FP&A software (NetSuite, Adaptive, Anaplan, or similar) is a plus
Preferred
- CPA, CFA, or MBA credentials
- Exposure to fundraising, M&A, or investor relations in a high‑growth environment
- Familiarity with property tech, real‑estate analytics, or other asset‑heavy verticals
