Job Summary
">We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our team. As a CT Technologist, you will perform high-quality radiologic exams on incoming patients, administer contrast as needed, and guide patients through the exam process. You will also respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients, demonstrate competency in safeguarding patient property and Patient Health Information, and maintain professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
Key Responsibilities
">- Perform high-quality radiologic, CT exams on incoming patients.
- Administer contrast as needed, in a safe and effective manner.
- Guide patients through this sometimes-difficult process by kindly talking them through the steps and answering their questions and concerns regarding exam procedures and process.
- Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients.
- Demonstrate competency regarding the need to safeguard patient property and Patient Health Information.
- Safeguard any on-site medications in accordance with Company policies, procedures, and any legal requirements.
- Demonstrate respect for company property, including any cash and patient financial information on site or on patient portals.
- Show responsiveness to the needs of others by exhibiting and maintaining professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
- Demonstrate respect for patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities during all interactions.
- Demonstrate ability to interact diplomatically and sympathetically with patients, their families, and the public in a clinical setting.
- Demonstrate ability to establish, nurture, and maintain cooperative working relationships.
Requirements
">To ensure success in this role, you must have state regulations may necessitate the following certifications: state licensure, ARRT (R), and/or ARRT (CT). BLS certification depending on state regulations. At least one year of diagnostic imaging experience is preferred.
