Job summary:
Seeking a people-focused, strategic HR Partner (HRP) to serve as a liaison between hospital operations, leadership, and employees. The HR Partner will act as a trusted advisor helping to align objectives while encouraging a positive work-culture. They will plan, coordinate, and implement HR activities for assigned client areas to align with the organization’s values, mission, and strategy. Duties include providing effective and timely advice, counsel, coaching, and problem solving to support leaders and client groups. This role requires positive relationship building skills, decision making, and HR expertise. To contribute to ongoing organizational success, the HRP must have high standards of service, and dedication to leaders and employees.
Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree (In lieu of Bachelor’s Degree, will accept equivalent years of experience in employee relations in a healthcare setting with union experience)
Minimum of 5 years of experience as an HR Partner or equivalent role
Strong working knowledge of human resources best practices, California wage and labor laws
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Advanced experience in employee relations, employment investigative processes, and best practices
Ability to influence and partner with stakeholders at all levels
Demonstrated emotional and cultural intelligence
Employee/Labor relations experience
Strong problem solving, analytical and decision-making abilities
Ability to be forward-thinking and demonstrate proven experience working in a high volume, fast paced, 24/7 hospital operations environment
Preferred qualifications:
Experience working in healthcare environment
Master's Degree
PHR or SPHR Certification
Bilingual
