Job Description

Position: Facility Maintenance/Janitor

Classification: Full-time hourly

Reports to: Facility Administrator/AFA

General Information

Responsible for maintaining and repairing items and structures within the facility while also Maintaining the Cleanliness and Sanitation of the Facility.

Duties/Responsibilities:

· Repair any broken/non-working items within the facility in a timely manner. This may include changing Lightbulbs, doorknobs, water fountains, windows, etc.

· Maintain the daily cleanliness of the facility. This may include sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, taking the trash out, and any other related task.

· Ensure all cleaning and Maintenance supplies are restocked as needed.

· Supervise Residents who may be assisting with cleaning.

· Follow all applicable Policies and Procedures of Raekar Residential.

· Demonstrate competency in cultural knowledge, awareness, and sensitivity.

· Perform any other job-related duties as assigned by FA/AFA.

Required Skills and abilities:

· Excellent verbal communication skills

· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

· Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Ability to prioritize tasks.

· Education and Experience

· High school diploma or equivalent required.

· Must have a current valid I.D.

· Must be willing to complete any required training.

Physical Requirements:

· Prolonged periods of standing and walking.

· Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.

· Must pass a drug test.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $50,000.00 per year

• Monday to Friday
