JOB SUMMARY: In this role, the person will be responsible for accounts payable procedures for multiple properties along with some general bookkeeping duties. Responsibilities will include: Opening mail, reviewing all invoices, matching invoices with PO’s, inputting invoices into the accounting software, running checks, filing, taking deposits to the bank, bank reconciliations ,helping with month end closing and issuing 1099’s at year end. Assist in administrative duties for the corporate office. Typing, filing, binding documents, organizational ability to create filing systems, correspondence, and some analysis of property management reports, Excel and Word documents.

- Maintain a clean, neat and orderly work station, sales and management office.
- Efficient and timely processing of all required administrative forms, reports and related information.
- Flexibility in work days and work schedule.
- Responsible for maintaining a professional appearance and attitude at all times.
- Be aware of and operate within OSHA (Occupational Safety & Health Act) standards and company safety policies at all times.
- Report injuries, accidents or incidents immediately.

Qualifications

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three month’s related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers, vendors or employees.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions and percentages..
REASONING ABILITY: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: None required. General office skills and understanding of operations in an office environment.
