We're looking for an experienced Senior Cybersecurity Engineer to support our customers and join our passionate team of high-impact problem solvers.
About the role :
As a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer , you will support the installation, implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of agency cyber controls for the software factory. Assist in designing and managing the security controls within the CI / CD pipeline. Provide Production Support of the software artifcants and the CI / CD pipeline. Provide second level problem identification, diagnosis and resolution of problems. Support the escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers. A working knowledge is desirable in various software systems and architectures, communications protocols : and network hardware devices.
What we are looking for :
- 6 plus years of relevant hands-on experience
- Deep understanding of Agile, DevOps, and DevSecOps methodologies
- Advanced networking experience
- Experience with managing Service-Mesh, like Istio
- Extensive experience in software systems installations & configuration
- Dedicated to automation, system efficiency, and security
- Experience in setting up and integrating enterprise-grade cloud-based services
- Experience with at least 2 of the following Java, Node.js, Terraform Ansible, Chef, Puppet, Python
- Proficiency with Log Management and Analytics tools
- Ability to oversee system installations
- Providing design artifacts and requirements verification test results
- Further development and definition of cyber performance requirements
- Participating and revising Cybersecurity Procedures documentation in the CI / CD pipeline.
- Executing Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) and vulnerability scans
- Documenting data flow of developed applications and documentation of data flow over all permitted connections and provide OQE that shows unauthorized traffic is not present on the network
- Fix or mitigate any vulnerabilities and issues identified during development and throughout the Performer's Information Assurance Vulnerability Management (IAVM) process
- Obtain CompTIA Security or other DoD 8570 IAT Level II or higher certification within the first 90 days of employment with Raft
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, Mathematics or a related field

Salary : $110,000 - $180,000
