Overview

Do you enjoy engaging with people and creating great first impressions? We are looking for a friendly, organized, and responsible Ticketing Coordinator to manage admissions and provide a positive check-in experience for attendees at our monthly open mic event in Atlanta. As the first point of contact, you’ll set the tone for the evening and make sure all attendees feel welcomed and informed. Key Responsibilities

Pre-Event Preparation:

  • Attend a short pre-event meeting the day before the show to review the schedule.
  • Help set up the ticketing/check-in station, including signage and materials.
  • Familiarize yourself with tiered ticketing/donation options and policies.
  • Understand the nuances of the show at a high level in order to answer any questions from attendees.

Event Day Duties:

  • Welcome attendees and manage the check-in/ticketing process efficiently.
  • Verify tickets or collect donations at the door, ensuring accurate records.
  • Distribute wristbands, raffle tickets, or other materials to attendees as applicable.
  • Explain the show structure, rules, and available incentives (e.g., raffle, concessions, etc.) to attendees.
  • Maintain a warm and approachable demeanor during the event.

Post-Event Duties:

  • Help reconcile ticketing/donation records and report totals to the organizers.
  • Provide feedback on the check-in process and suggest areas for improvement.
  • Assist with packing up the ticketing station and other materials.

Pay: From $1.00 per hour

Schedule:
