Work Hours
Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Additional time may be required. Location of work is in the DFW area.
Job Details & Responsibilities:
- Layout of curbs, road centerlines, slope stakes, sewer locations, waterline, and misc.
- Responsible for safe operation and maintenance of vehicles, tools, and equipment
- Verifies the accuracy of field survey data
- Proficient in reading plans
- Able to perform Topographic and Asbuilt Surveys
- Generate surface models for construction equipment
Requirements:
- 1-3 years of experience in Survey Tech
- Strong organizational skills and detail oriented
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Working knowledge of field survey methods and calculations
- Strong understanding of TXDOT plans and specifications
- Able to work independently and efficiently
- Knowledge of Construction Practices
- Knowledge of Industrial Practices is a plus
- Knowledge of GPS, Robotic, and Machine Control Equipment
- Knowledge of CAD based computer software
