Our Southern Division is looking for team-focused, innovative, and results-oriented individuals who are eager to contribute to our clients' success through their skills and expertise.
Job Responsibilities
- Represent staffing needs, workforce planning, and talent strategy to senior leadership, ensuring alignment with business objectives and goals.
- Lead full-cycle recruitment efforts for both field and office positions, developing and implementing effective strategies to attract top talent.
- Develop and manage 'top talent' acquisition strategies, identifying and recruiting high-potential candidates who align with our company values.
- Oversight of onboarding processes to ensure a smooth transition for new hires, including orientation, training, and performance evaluation.
- Develop employee relations, performance evaluations, and retention strategies to foster a positive and productive work environment.
- Maintain and update HR policies in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, ensuring a safe and healthy work environment.
- Track HR metrics and provide reports on hiring, turnover, and employee engagement to inform business decisions.
- Coordinate employee training, benefits enrollment, and company events to promote employee development and satisfaction.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 5 years of experience in HR and recruiting, preferably in the construction or heavy civil industry.
- Strong understanding of HR best practices, employment laws, and compliance standards.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, with the ability to build relationships with candidates and internal stakeholders.
- Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS), HRIS software, and Microsoft Office suite.
- Demonstrated ability to drive results and achieve business objectives through strategic HR initiatives.
- SHRM-CP or PHR certifications, demonstrating expertise in HR practices and principles.
