Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various settings, including residential, commercial, and industrial spaces. This role requires a proactive approach to cleaning tasks and a commitment to ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants.
Duties
- Perform custodial duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting to maintain cleanliness in assigned areas.
- Conduct industrial cleaning tasks in compliance with safety standards and regulations.
- Assist with commercial cleaning projects, ensuring high standards of hygiene and sanitation are met.
- Provide porter services by transporting materials or supplies as needed throughout the facility.
- Maintain an organized cleaning supply inventory and report any shortages or needs for replenishment.
Requirements
- Proven experience in custodial or cleaning roles is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with buffing machines and floor care equipment is a plus.
- Knowledge of industrial cleaning practices and safety protocols is advantageous.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Excellent time management skills to efficiently complete assigned tasks within designated timeframes.
- A proactive attitude towards maintaining cleanliness and addressing any issues that arise promptly.
