- Training, supervising, and scheduling bar staff
- Enforcing health and safety regulations, including proper sanitation practices
- Ordering and managing inventory of bar supplies, including alcohol and bar equipment
- Creating and updating the drink menu, often in collaboration with restaurant management
- Serving customers and handling customer complaints or concerns promptly and professionally
- Ensuring compliance with alcohol laws, regulations, and licensing requirements
- Monitoring the bar's financials, including sales and expenses
- Assisting in the planning and hosting of bar events, promotions, and marketing activities
