Position : Electrical Estimator
Reports to : Estimating Manager / Director of Project Management

Position Summary
RAI is seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to bid projects ranging from $200,000 to $15,000,000 and perform project management duties as needed.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage projects as needed on estimates won
- Prepare proposal specifications and drawings to determine the scope of work and required contents of the estimate
- Attend pre-bid meetings and / or tour job sites to confirm requisite take-offs
- Maintain files of working documents as back-up for estimate figures, including information on pricing from suppliers obtained through direct contact, sales brochures, price lists, software uploads, etc.
- Support other department personnel as required, which may include assisting with estimates in other disciplines
- Review design options and recommend the best solution based on cost, engineering quality, and / or availability of materials
- Interface with clients on bid-walks
- Provide support to field operations regarding electrical estimates
- Frequent day travel throughout the Southeast (overnight stays are rare if local to the Athens, GA area)
