We are seeking a Senior Marketing Coordinator to join our team. Supporting our Gulf Coast offices, the ideal candidate will be a motivated individual with excellent interpersonal, written, and organizational skills. This will be a hybrid role with requirements of 2-3 days a week in the Baton Rouge office.

What Work You Will Be Responsible For

The position will be responsible for providing support for the Gulf Coast marketing team and other firm-wide industry marketing initiatives. On a daily basis, this role will involve (but is not limited to):

  • Assisting in the development and execution of strategic marketing plans, campaigns, and programming that are consistent with the firm’s brand, positioning, and overall growth goals.
  • Proofreading marketing documents for spelling, grammar, and layout, recommending or making appropriate changes. Responsible for accuracy and clarity of final documents.
  • Working independently and within a team on special non-recurring and ongoing projects
  • Acting as project manager for PR, branding, and lead generation activities such as in-person and virtual events/webinars. This includes assisting in content development for invites, announcements, email marketing, and collateral.
  • Assisting with tracking, coordination, and implementation of hosted and sponsored events, including booth set up and breakdown.
  • Assists with maintenance and distribution of marketing giveaways inventory.
  • Maintaining marketing industry leads (tracking ROI and touchpoints for events and campaigns). Experience with analyzing data to uncover actionable insights.
  • Assisting with industry research and/or list research.
  • Working with industry marketing managers/leaders and stakeholders on the execution of growth initiatives.
  • Routing and coding of marketing invoices for local vendors and initiatives.
  • Providing information to supervisors, co-workers, and subordinates by telephone, in written form, e-mail, or in person.
  • Supporting Gulf Coast marketing activities including sponsorships and events and internal marketing-specific communications.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Associate degree in marketing, communications, business administration or related filed required.
  • 2 years of marketing or relevant work experience.

Preferred/Desired Qualifications

  • Experience working in a corporate environment.
  • Must be extremely detailed oriented with organizational skills.
  • Demonstrable ability to adhere to deadlines.
  • Ability to project manage, multi-task, and prioritize work.
  • Extensive experience with MS Office. Advanced Excel skills is a plus. Other marketing computer software and online applications a plus (CRM and research tools, social media, etc.)
  • Excellent communication, writing, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to learn other tech platforms and research database tools.
  • Knowledge of marketing principles a plus.
  • Knowledge of accounting, tax, or other professional services is a plus.
