Key Responsibilities
- Direct and supervise the daily operations of the laboratory team, ensuring effective communication regarding workflow and departmental assignments.
- Guarantee compliance with all established departmental procedures, quality assurance protocols, and regulatory standards.
- Act as a resource for team members, supporting their training and development through competency programs.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency within the lab.
- Manage staffing decisions including hiring, promotions, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions in line with DaVita policies.
- Oversee workload distribution and staffing plans, ensuring adequate coverage during staff absences, and assist with bench work as needed.
