- Prepare precise estimates for structural steel components.
- Conduct comprehensive take-offs and labor assessments.
- Review vendor quotes and compile supporting documentation to ensure complete estimates.
- Verify compliance with contract documents.
- Analyze construction plans and provide guidance to Estimators-in-Training.
- Collaborate closely with the VP of Sales and Estimating to deliver timely and accurate estimates.
- 2-3 years of experience in bridge construction, estimating, or a related discipline.
- Proficiency in interpreting construction plans and specifications.
- Understanding of bridge construction methods and practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
