Job Summary : The HR Generalist is responsible for supporting a wide variety of HR activities for the Mexico entity , including recruitment , onboarding , payroll , benefits administration , and ensuring compliance with federal and local labor laws . This role contributes to fostering a positive and productive work environment and advises managers and supervisors on all Mexico HR practices .
Essential Duties & Responsibilities :
- Develop, implement, and communicate HR policies and procedures
- Collaborate with U.S.-based People Operations counterparts to share best practices and maintain consistency
- Advise and assist management and employees on labor-related issues , such as employment contracts , termination , compensation , and benefits
- Maintain accurate employee records , including personnel files , training records , and documentation
- Handle sensitive employee information with confidentiality and follow data protection regulations
- Manage full recruitment lifecycle , including job posting , sourcing , interviewing , and onboarding
- Prepare recruitment metrics reports , including time-to-fill , cost-per-hire , and candidate pipeline
- Oversee employee benefits administration
- Assist employees with Employee Self Service access, including password resets or information updates
- Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing , including wages , deductions , and benefits
- Draft, renew, and maintain employment contracts , ensuring compliance
- Provide support on payroll inquiries and issues
- Enforce compliance with Mexican labor laws and company policies
- Regularly review and update processes to align with legal requirements and best practices
- Other duties as needed to meet business needs
