Rainbow Lawncare (a division of Rainbow Companies) is seeking a Customer Service Representative to support our team! Whether you are already in the green industry or looking to grow your expertise, Rainbow is seeking a loyal, accountable, and hard-working team member to join us. We are looking for someone who excels at customer service, works well in a team environment, and is driven to succeed. This is a full-time position with regular hours from 8am to 5pm CST. We are a value-driven employee-owned company that provides science-based, innovative solutions in the home services industry.
You will be responsible for providing exemplary customer experience for all clients. You must possess a deep knowledge of customer service principles and processes. You will excel in communicating effectively with businesses and team members within our Lawncare division. Additional duties include providing administrative support to sales and production staff, managing files and records, and other office procedures. This role offers flexibility to work from home most of the time. However, there will be an expectation to attend in-person meetings and participate in specific projects at our Minnetonka office as needed.

While performing the duties of this job, employees are regularly required to sit for extended periods of time, walk and stand; talk or hear, both in person and by telephone; use hands repetitively to finger, handle, feel or operate standard office equipment; reach with hands and arms; and lift up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision and the ability to adjust focus.

What You Will Do
- Responds promptly to all client questions by phone, email, and text
- Sell or upsell services or products by exploring client needs
- Schedules consultations for customers as needed
- Keep detailed records of client interactions, transactions, inquiries, complaints, or comments, as well as actions taken
- Handles customer escalations with the support of the Customer Service Supervisor
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, and Word)
- Proficient in using phone software and headset
- B.A. or equivalent
- 3 years customer service experience
- Experience in Lawn Care, or related fields
