What are the responsibilities and job description for the Truck Driver/Forklift Operator position at Rainbow Intl Of Northeastern Maryland?
- Must be capable of driving a motor vehicle up 25,999 lbs. GVW, 25 feet long.
- Be able to operate and maintain a 7,000 lb. forklift to load and unload vehicles.
- Be capable of operating electronic devices to use inventory management software.
- Be able to load and unload contents from vaults.
- Be able to lift and carry furniture and boxes for delivery to and from customer homes.
- Operate and perform general maintenance on warehouse equipment.
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and DOT for any/all class vehicles operated.
- Must possess a current forklift operator’s certification.
- Must have the ability to read and write the English language, and have the mental ability to handle receipts, read maps, road signs, and maintain a record of duty status, etc.
- Must be able to apply commonsense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions.
