What are the responsibilities and job description for the Injectcare Foreperson position at Rainbow Tree Company?

Rainbow Treecare (a division of Rainbow Companies) is seeking a full-time Injection Foreperson to lead our Injections division. In this position, you will be responsible for the training of new Injection hires, technical training of Injection location leadership, and refresher training for returning Injection technicians. Additionally, you will be responsible for pre-season preparation (vehicle set up, kit preparation, etc), as well as in season quality audits for service delivery techs and location leadership. This is a full-time position, and your work location will be based in Minnetonka, MN; Little Canada, MN; or Burnsville, MN.
What You Will Do:
- Provide the application training for the onboarding of EAB/Macro technical staff.
- Communicate as needed with warehouse and scheduling staff for service delivery needs.
- Serve as an on-call location lead in the instances of absences or delayed start for the EAB/Macro Location Lead.
- Performing QA/QC audits throughout the season for all EAB/Macro technical staff.
- Enforce proper safety procedures, equipment, and maintenance use by technical staff.
- Performing QA/QC audits throughout the season for all EAB/Macro Locations leads.
- Enforce proper safety, equipment use, training protocols, and leadership expectations.
- Complete basic equipment management and maintenance as needed.
- Supervise technicians and incorporate/uphold company values and policies.
- Maintain efficiency of the injection process and provide further training as needed.
- Provide feedback to management on technical staff, location lead performance and employee engagement and experiences.
- Provide professional and courteous customer service to clients while in the field.
- Site follow up visits (tree evaluations, treatment confirmation, etc.)
- Responsible for the technical staff engagement to create a supportive and fulfilling environment.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma, or GED
- Class D Driver’s License
- Ability to organize, prioritize, and multitask
- Ability to work with a high degree of autonomy
- Ability to be coachable
Preferred Qualifications:
- Pesticide Applicator’s License or ability to obtain within 30 days of start (we will pay for test)
- Studying in a related field (Biology, Urban Forestry, Environmental Science, Conservation)
- At least 2 years of experience in a related field
- ISA Certified

Physical Demands and Work Environment:
Work is performed outdoors in any weather element throughout urban and rural areas. May be required to bend, reach, stoop, and lift objects; may be exposed to safety hazards and hazardous tools and equipment; during which safety precautions must be followed, including use of safety equipment. Must be able to lift 50 pounds at any given time.
