Sr. Vertical Content Manager

Raindrop is a fast-growing agency and the leader in Marketing People Love. We're looking for a passionate Sr. Vertical Content Manager with strong experience in social media marketing, content creation, and editing to help us create, manage, and scale our clients’ paid social assets.

As a key member of the Vertical Content team, you’ll play a critical role in elevating our creative output by partnering closely with internal teams. You'll lead the strategic ideation of vertical video concepts for clients’ paid media channels, including Meta and TikTok. As a social media expert, you’ll shape both strategy and creative direction in a way that’s thoughtful, authentic, and performance-driven. You’ll also oversee and mentor associate-level Vertical Content Managers, helping guide their growth and ensuring high-quality execution across the board.

In this role, you must be strategic, adaptable, and relentlessly passionate about creating and executing effective content while staying on the cutting edge of social media trends. Leadership and Communication

• Collaborates with Vertical Content Managers and Account Managers to understand client needs and concepts for video to turn those needs into assets
• Top-notch communication, presentation, and writing skills
• Organizes and oversees client setup (Google Drive, ClickUp, Aspire, etc.)
• Communicate with the Editing team for all vertical assets 
• Attends all asset review meetings in post-production
• Works with ACD of Social to lead clients in strategic decision-making
• Support the growth of the department by working closely with the ACD, Social
• Strategically lead our Vertical Content team to champion our clients

Account Management & Content Creation

• Live and breathe vertical video for social. You know the trends before they are trending and you’re comfortable communicating these points to the team
• Understands what catches people's attention across platforms 
• Ideates and finds new opportunities for growth for multiple clients in the vertical video space.
• Provides organized and thoughtful recommendations to AMs and clients
• Ability to self-edit and develop others to self-edit
• Maximizes creativity to communicate ideas and concepts
• Consistently provides imaginative ideas and concepts 
• Synthesizes BI's and client goals into creative ideas 
• Creates within perimeters/constraints and creates parameters for others
• Leads client concept presentations

Strategic Execution 

• Be a storyteller who loves creating engaging content with measurable results 
• Leads all project management with support from ACD, Social
• Collaborates with key stakeholders to build project timelines
• Communicates with key stakeholders to ensure a successful AVT/pre-production process

Resource Management

• Effectively orchestrates moving variables 
• Innovates new processes to streamline projects
• Delegates tasks strategically and follows up to ensure the completion of tasks
• Proactively and strategically schedules meetings with key stakeholders
• Problem solves to create win-win scenarios

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS 

• 3-5 years of relevant experience in the social media space 
• Must have experience managing a team of 2 or more people at once
• Proven experience working on multiple accounts at once and ability to properly prioritize projects
• Great attention to detail, while being able to prioritize, multi-task and manage up and down 
• Is proactive in communication with clients to ensure all needs are anticipated and met 
• Comfortable serving as lead social strategist, and a support role to team members on other accounts 
• Fluent in video editing software native to iPhone to ensure the content is eye-catching and on-trend
• Proficiency in editing software such as Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, etc. is a plus 
• Possess a positive attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• $65 - $75,000  DOE
