What You'll Do:- Lead the design and optimization of the ServiceNow platform, ensuring it aligns with business needs and industry best practices.
- Manage a team of engineers and a direct-report manager, fostering a high-performance culture.
- Define and execute a platform roadmap, ensuring scalability, performance, and compliance.
- Oversee the development of workflows, integrations, and modules across key areas like ITSM, ITAM, SecOps, GRC, and TPRM.
- Drive platform upgrades, ensuring security, stability, and adherence to enterprise standards.
- Collaborate with business leaders and stakeholders to develop solutions that deliver measurable business impact.
- Establish governance and best practices to optimize platform efficiency and adoption.
- Provide technical guidance for configuring, customizing, and developing on ServiceNow.
- Stay ahead of the latest ServiceNow trends and best practices, integrating innovative solutions.
- Create an environment where engineers can experiment with new technical solutions to solve complex problems.
- 10 years of ServiceNow experience, with expertise in ITSM, ITAM, SecOps, GRC, and TPRM.
- Strong architecture and design experience in ServiceNow, including workflows, custom apps, and integrations.
- Leadership experience, including mentoring and managing technical teams.
- Ability to drive complex large-scale projects while meeting deadlines and business objectives.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (JavaScript, Glide, etc.) and frameworks like HTML, CSS, AngularJS, SASS, and Bootstrap.
- Solid understanding of CMDB, Asset Management, Incident, Problem, and Change Management processes.
- Experience integrating ServiceNow with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs and Integration Hub/Spokes.
- Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, and Kanban methodologies.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to present technical concepts to stakeholders and executives.
- ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (ITSM, ITAM, or similar)
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)
- ITIL v3/v4 Certification
- Certified Technical Architect (CTA) – A major plus
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Must reside within 60 miles of Reston, VA (hybrid role).
- US Citizen/Green Card holders preferred.
