We are seeking a results-driven General Sales Manager to lead our sales team and drive business growth. Family owned business and dealer retiring in 5 to 6 years. Great opportunity to run the sales floor and advance to GM.

Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve company objectives.
- Manage the sales pipeline, ensuring timely follow-up on leads and opportunities.
- Direct cold calling to generate new business and expand customer base.
- Provide ongoing support to the sales team, including training on products, software, and best practices.
- Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with inventory control teams to ensure product availability.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth.
- Foster strong relationships with clients through excellent phone etiquette and customer service.
- Prepare regular sales reports for senior management to track performance against targets.
- Mentor and coach team members to enhance their skills in retail sales and outside sales techniques.
Requirements
- Proven experience in automotive retail sales management.
- Strong understanding of inventory control processes and sales pipeline management.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on phone etiquette.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
- Proficiency in using software tools for tracking sales activities and customer interactions.
- Multilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse clientele.
- Strong analytical skills to assess market conditions and adjust strategies accordingly.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving with the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
