What are the responsibilities and job description for the Metal Shop Fabricator - Entry Level position at Rainier Industries?
Rainier Industries, a local manufacturing organization with a long, established history, is looking for an entry-level team member to join our metal fabrication team. In this role you will assist with a wide range of processes such as inventory, preparing material for jobs (pulling material, cutting, punching, deburring) and shop cleanliness. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to learn a trade in metal work. No prior experience is required, on-the-job training will be provided.
The ideal candidate will have/be:
Ability to learn how to use hand and pneumatic/vibratory tools.
Ability to work with minimal supervision and manage own time effectively.
Ability to read a measuring tape.
Able to stand & walk for most of the shift.
Understanding of the importance of quality work.
Dependable, responsible, and reliable.
Positive attitude that contributes to a positive work environment.
Compensation: This is an hourly position, eligible for overtime. The pay range is $20.10 - $23.00 per hour.
