Position Details
What you will do in this role:
- Prepares regular staffing schedules for nursing staff and posts schedule no less than two weeks prior to the start of the schedule.
- Communicates schedule changes and other pertinent information to management and staff in a timely manner.
- Serves as the central contact person for the nursing department for call offs, schedule changes, PTO scheduling.
- Ensures coverage for both planned and unplanned schedule changes. Notifies appropriate management of discrepancies in staffing in a timely manner.
- Monitors employee hours to minimize overtime.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- High school degree or equivalent preferred.
- Prior experience scheduling/staffing experience required.
- May be required to work flexible hours and overtime
- CPR Certification and Crisis Prevention Training (CPI) within 30 days of employment and prior to any patient contact
- Valid driver’s license preferred
Salary range: $19 - $25 per hour. We would expect those hired into this job would be paid within this hourly rate, however, certain circumstances may allow us to pay outside of this hourly rate.
