Overview
We are seeking a creative and results-driven Community Marketing & Social Media Manager to join our dynamic team. This part-time role is essential in building the company brand presence within the community, engaging with customers, and promoting our cafe through various marketing initiatives and social media platforms. From a social media perspective, you will be responsible for developing and executing our social media strategy to enhance our online presence, engage with our audience, and promote our brand. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of digital marketing trends, exceptional communication skills, and a passion for storytelling through various social media platforms.
Responsibilities
- Organizing marketing events and developing cross-promotion strategies with partnering businesses, schools, and organizations.
- Attending local events/fairs/markets/sporting events, etc. as a representative of the brand to enhance public awareness of the business.
- Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement.
- Create, curate, and manage published content across all social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and others.
- Monitor social media channels for trends and audience engagement using social listening tools.
- Analyze performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of campaigns and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, tools, and best practices in social media management and digital marketing.
Experience
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills and the ability to engage and interact with new people.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated to meet deadlines.
- Creativity and strong organizational skills coupled with timeliness and responsiveness are paramount to the position.
- Proven experience in social media management or digital marketing roles.
- Strong skills in photography and graphic design to create engaging visual content.
- Familiarity with social media marketing strategies and best practices.
- Experience using social listening tools to gauge audience sentiment and engagement.
