What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Machine Operator position at Raining Rose Inc?
SUMMARY
This position is responsible for setting up and operating various production machines to ensure the line is on schedule, within quality standards, and according to company and/or customer specifications. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (include but are not limited to the following)
- Safely operate production equipment to specifications
- Observe machine operations to ensure quality and conformity of filled products to standards
- Regulate machine flow, speed, and/or temperature
- Inspect materials, products, or equipment for defects or malfunctions
- Stop and/or reset machines when malfunctions occur, clear machine jams, and report malfunctions to a supervisor
- Perform preventative maintenance as required
- Train new Line Workers and temporary workers
- Understand and can accurately and legibly complete all necessary paperwork
- Recommend process improvements for increased efficiencies
- Display and promote company values (ASPIRE: Attitude, Safety, Passion, Integrity, Relationship, and Evolve)
- Firm understanding and compliance with companys Good Manufacturing Practices and Safe Practices
- Regular attendance
- Other duties as assigned, including Line Worker responsibilities as needed

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma/GED required
- A minimum of 1 years of experience in a relatable field preferred
- Experience with ERP software and production, quality, and efficiency software preferred
- Experience with a wide variety of measuring instruments and complicated product development preferred
- Knowledge of GMPs, OSHA rules and regulations preferred
- Knowledge of material inspection methods and techniques preferred
