Will be part of a team responsible for executing global Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) and Investor Relations (IR) strategy. As related to IR, the analyst will support preparation of all internal and external deliverables related to the investor relations process; maintenance, recordkeeping, and proactive outreach on investor interactions; logistical planning and execution of investor-related executive travel; and collaborative development of the narrative storytelling for the company's financial performance and enterprise strategy. As related to M&A, the analyst will be part of the global governance team, supporting the oversight, development, prioritization, and execution of all M&A activities from deal sourcing, through deal execution, and culminating with integration. As part of that support, they will be developing internal presentations for management and the Board, supporting preparation and review of M&A business cases, and functioning as a liaison and enabler of business leaders to efficiently execute on M&A opportunities.
This role will require polished interpersonal skills as the analyst will interact on a routine basis with executive leaders, high profile investors, and senior management in the pursuit of their role. Most importantly, they will require deep insight into financial statement drivers, an ability to prioritize complex and shifting priorities real-time, interpret how both external and internal factors influence company performance, and an ability to fluidly articulate financial performance into a compelling investment narrative. This individual must be highly motivated and willing to support and learn quickly from others. The ideal candidate will also have a “no job too small” mindset and understand that creating value is the outcome of day-to-day tactical, detailed execution.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Maintaining investor interactions database, proactively prompting leadership to engage on a regular basis with key investors as well as developing new investor target lists
- Leadership of all logistical elements required for IR or M&A-related meetings : travel, scheduling, and record retention
- Supporting preparation of all external investor relations deliverables, including quarterly earnings content, non-deal road show content, and special projects relating to the capital markets
- Collaborating with business leaders to facilitate M&A sourcing, business case development, and execution
- Working closely with executive management and senior leaders to develop insights valuable to determining capital allocation and communicating capital allocation decisions effectively to external audiences
- Creation of internal presentations and reports with complex financial analysis to various internal stakeholders including executive management and Board of Directors
