Salary Range $19.50 – $29.00 per hour
Position Summary: Performs a wide variety of complex and confidential clerical duties for various hospital divisions supporting goals and objectives. Most importantly, medical staff office credentialing and maintaining medical office practices that are best practice in the healthcare industry. This position is responsible for assignments of great complexity and must requires initiative to meet objectives independently. Requires involvement with and exposure to sensitive
information necessitating considerable use of confidentiality practices, tact, diplomacy, discretion, and judgement. This position is also responsible for aiding in the improvement of quality systems and outcomes.
Minimum Qualifications:
- AA Degree in Secretarial or healthcare related field.
- 1 year experience of working in an administrative setting.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS)
- Bachelor’s degree in healthcare related field
- Two years of experience in the areas of administrative position or other healthcare related fields.
