What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Mechanical Engineer position at Raise Robotics?
Raise Robotics creates robots to build the world’s physical infrastructure. Our first product is MetalMan, a mobile manipulator for automating physically demanding work on construction sites. We work with the largest contractors in the US and are supported by world-class investors.

For this role, we are seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineerwho will contribute to the mechanical designs of a mobile manipulator for construction applications.
What we’re looking for :
- At least 3 years of experience working in industry.
- Previous experience working with robotics or automation systems.
- Familiarity with standard CAD and mechanical simulation software.
- Strong understanding of electricity.
- Experience with manufacturing, CAM, and fabrication.
- Great hands-on prototyping and troubleshooting skills.
- Desire to work closely with others in a cross functional and dynamic setting.
- Plus) Previous experience designing end effectors for robot arms.
