Pay Rate: $42.00/hour on W2
Work Type: Hybrid – Syracuse, NY 13202
Duration: 12-month contract (with possible extension)
Job Overview:
- This position is under the general direction of the NY Third Party Licensing and Outdoor Lighting Manager and is responsible for supporting the Third-party attachment application and licensing process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the thorough understanding and consistent, non-discriminatory application and monitoring of 3rd Party Attachment policies and procedures, and information systems within the client’s upstate New York (NMPC) jurisdiction including (but not limited to):
- Coordination with Customers on the application life cycle and project status.
- Understanding of Standards, Attachment Licenses, and Legislation.
- Regulatory Reporting on 3rd Party Attachments.
- Coordination with Design Engineering.
- Management of Joint Ownership relationships with other pole owners.
- Assisting in customer billing and associated revenue reconciliation.
- Ability to develop positive working relationships, internally and externally with a focus on the resolution of customer concerns (often relating to billing or company performance) and fulfill the client's contractual obligations.
- Manage necessary training and knowledge sharing for company personnel and customers to promote current technology, company standards, and innovative solutions to meet customer requirements.
- Develop and report on specific performance indicators to be established and communicated between all responsible organizations to address:
- Workflow management reports
- Revenue Reconciliation
- Project budget, cost, and schedule performance
- Application Lifecycle
Qualifications:
- Organizational skills and Excel skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in the fields of Engineering, Business Administration, Information Management/Technology, or equivalent 1-3 years qualifying experience.
- Strong overall PC skills with proficiency in MS Office Suite, especially MS Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word.
- Experience with Access and Visio is beneficial, but not essential.
