Role Overview: We are seeking a visionary Global Business Development Leader to drive our strategic planning and global business expansion. This role demands an individual with a profound understanding of our product pipeline and the ability to forge impactful business partnerships that align with each product's stage of development.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategies for the global expansion of the organization’s business, tailored to our evolving product pipeline.
- Partnership Development: Establish and maintain a robust network of potential partners, promoting our products and identifying opportunities for collaboration.
- Opportunity Evaluation: Lead the assessment and execution of business opportunities, ensuring seamless internal and external communication.
- Negotiations and Agreements: Spearhead partnership processes, from letters of intent to final agreements, in coordination with executive management.
- Market Analysis: Represent the company at collaboration meetings, analyze market trends, and contribute to the optimization and commercialization of our product pipeline.
- Resource Utilization: Efficiently manage the business development budget, prioritizing resources for maximum impact on product commercialization.
- Performance Targets: Achieve quarterly, semi-annual, and annual business expansion goals.
- Partnership Management: Provide guidance to project leaders, resolve conflicts, and explore opportunities to enhance business relationships.
- Educational Background: PhD in biomedical sciences or related fields, with a preference for experience in drug discovery or early clinical development, particularly in immuno-oncology.
- Industry Expertise: Extensive experience in the biopharmaceutical industry, with strong networking capabilities and familiarity with industry principles and processes.
- Global Perspective: In-depth understanding of biopharmaceutical development across major markets.
- Business Development Experience: Minimum of 10 years in business development within the pharmaceutical sector, having led at least three successful BD projects.
- Contract Knowledge: Comprehensive knowledge of partnership agreement elements and relevant contract law.
- Communication Skills: Proficiency in English, with excellent negotiation and writing skills.
- Professionalism: Proven ability to handle high-visibility projects, with a strong sense of responsibility and proactive approach to duties.
