Our key client in clinical robotics is looking for additional members. We have an Industrial Engineer II on the team.
Pay Rate : $44.13-$59.71 / hour on W2
Work Type : Onsite – Sunnyvale, CA 94086
Duration : 6-month contract (with possible extension)
Job Overview :
- The Industrial Engineer II will participate in efforts to improve the efficiency of physical and transactional processes throughout the organization.
- In this position, Industrial Engineer II will begin to take a leadership role in proposing and supporting change and advocating for continuous improvement, challenging existing processes, and leveraging lean thinking to identify better ways.
- Individuals in this role should have a strong track record of continuous improvement and be interested in developing technical depth and their project and change leadership competencies.
Key Responsibilities :
Support Manufacturing in the review and analysis of manufacturing procedures, make recommendations for manufacturing methods, and support projects that will result in improved manufacturing costs and / or enhanced quality.Run routine problem-solving investigations including root cause analysis tools such as fishbone diagrams and 5 Why analysis.Perform duties in the areas of time standards, line balancing, and process simulation.Work may also include cost estimation, manpower planning, and productivity improvements.Cross functionally participates and executes on the Industrial Engineering and continuous improvement projects for Manufacturing.May lead project of localized scope.Support the execution of improvements in manufacturing, utilizing data analysis and metrics to build a business case and then deliver on execution.Leverages existing dashboards and available data to support analysis and recommendations.May maintain existing reports or dashboards as required.Base Requirements :
Bachelor’s Degree required in Industrial Engineering or related discipline, and 2 years minimum applicable work experience.Proficient general software and data analysis skills required (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, R, etc.)Exposure to simulation software (e.g., Simul8, Arena, ProModel, etc.)Track record of owning assigned actions supporting changes and suggesting changes within Quality Systems.Demonstrated experience in implementing Lean Manufacturing principles and techniques.Ability to manage many projects concurrently and in a timely fashion.Minimal travel required (Preferred Requirements :
