We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Capital Projects Coordinator to join our team. This role will be responsible for supporting the planning, managing, and coordination of capital projects within the Great Lakes Region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide input into the preparation of the regional operating and capital projects.
- Determine resource requirements and identify key stakeholders.
- Develop the execution schedule, identifying key milestones and aligning execution with existing outages.
- Identify risks and corresponding mitigation plans and finalize permits and/or regulatory applications.
- Support the selection of resources required to accomplish project scope.
- Assist in establishing purchase orders and procuring materials.
- Support the management of project budgets, maintaining and communicating forecasts.
- Collaborate with regional personnel and contractors to ensure projects are executed safely, following company standards and are on schedule and budget.
- Monitor the quality of technical records and drawings produced throughout the lifecycle of the project.
- Ensure constructed and repaired assets meet project sponsor and operational requirements.
Requirements:
Post-secondary education in engineering or PMP certification preferred with 2 or more years of previous related experience.
- Or equivalent combination of education and pipeline maintenance and construction experience.
- Knowledge of company Construction Standards and Specifications, as well as Operations and Maintenance Manuals.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Effective organizational and time management skills.
