Your Role at Raising Cane’s:
The Operations Services Specialist provides restaurant support through various forms, including day-to-day informative communications, project support and overall program management. This role has various responsibilities including the piloting, testing and rollout of new and cyclical initiatives across the system’s restaurants. The Restaurant Excellence Specialist ensures all items being introduced into the restaurants are ready for execution, as well as prioritizing in accordance with business needs and proper timing for successful implementation.
Your Impact and Responsibilities:
• Understands the purpose, scope, objectives, and success measurements of the project and can measure the operational success and impact of the project
• Leads the testing (including all iterations), pilot and rollout of projects to the restaurants and manages performance of each by gathering feedback, impact to Operations, and tracking successes/failures with a continuous improvement mindset
• Partners closely with other RSO departments and keeps the teams apprised of project status
• Maintains operational competency by staying close to the day-to-day work experience of the Restaurant Crew; monitors current versus desired execution of all initiatives and aspects of the operation
• Channels feedback to the Restaurant Excellence team to understand the success of the project and aligns on any needs for directional changes
• Develops, tests, and manages the creation of tools, systems, smallwares, and equipment that reinforces operational excellence throughout Raising Cane’s
• Works closely with the Crew Standards department to create the tools necessary to stay in compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
Requirements for Success:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
• Restaurant industry experience
• For internal promotion: Minimum of 12 months as a Restaurant Manager or above and must be in good company standing with a proven track record of meeting performance standards.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities that may be constantly changing
• Self-driven, flexible, and highly energetic with strong written and verbal communication skills
• Able to work effectively and efficiently both independently and collaboratively
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite: Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word
• Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, time management and analytical skills
• Self-aware with the ability to exercise good judgement and maintain strict confidentiality with highly confidential information
