For Travelers/Stipend Candidates (If your permanent address is outside the 50 mile radius from the facility):
Blended Hourly W2 Pay Rate: $29.00
Blended Weekly Gross Pay Rate: $1,160.00
Minimum Hourly W2 Pay Rate: $12.00
Min. W2 Weekly Gross (Taxable): $480.00
Weekly Stipend (Non-Taxable): $680.00
OR
For Traveler 1099 Candidates:
Pay Rate on 1099 to the Candidate: $31.00
Weekly 1099 Traveler Pay Rate: $1,240.00
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) to provide essential nursing and restorative care under the supervision of LPNs and RNs at our facility in Claremont, NH. This is a great opportunity for a skilled and caring LNA to make a difference in the lives of our residents while working in a supportive and collaborative environment.
Please Note:
- Local Travelers: We cannot consider candidates who reside within 50 miles of the facility. Please ensure your permanent address is included in your application to avoid delays.
- Willingness to Float: The ideal candidate should be comfortable floating between units as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Personal Care: Assist residents with personal hygiene, including bathing, grooming, and dressing. Administer specified skin care treatments in accordance with the Resident Care Plan.
- Mobility & Transfers: Aid residents for ambulation, movement, range of motion, turning, positioning, and transferring to ensure comfort and safety.
- Nutrition & Elimination: Assist with feeding, hydration, toileting, bowel and bladder training, and input/output monitoring as part of overall resident care.
- Emergency Response & Safety: Respond to emergency situations as per facility policy, including fire drills, resident falls, and redirecting wandering/confused residents to maintain safety and protect residents' rights.
- Resident Care Plans: Maintain a working knowledge of Resident Care Plans to provide appropriate basic nursing care, ensuring adherence to nursing standards and facility policies.
- Infection Control & Privacy: Follow infection control protocols and maintain confidentiality and privacy for all residents.
- Encouraging Participation: Respect residents’ spiritual beliefs and encourage participation in their care at the highest level of their physical and mental ability.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of current LNA experience in a healthcare setting.
- BLS Certification: Must have Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
- Floating: Must be willing to float between units and assist where needed.
- Rural/Small Facility Experience: Experience working in a rural or small facility is highly preferred.
- Travel Experience: Previous travel experience is highly preferred.
- Local Traveler Restriction: Must reside more than 50 miles away from the facility.
