Job Description: Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA)
Location: Franklin, NH
Shift: Evening Shift (3:00 PM - 11:30 PM)
Contract Length: 14 Weeks
Pay Details:
For Local Candidates pay rate: $26-$28/hr (If your permanent address is within 50 miles from the facility)
Position Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Licensed Medical Nursing Assistant (LMNA) to join our healthcare team in Franklin, NH. This 14-week contract position offers guaranteed 40 hours per week and a shift from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM. The LMNA will play a critical role in assisting with patient care, supporting daily living activities, and collaborating with nursing staff to ensure a high standard of care. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills and a compassionate approach to care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding
- Monitor and record patients' vital signs and report any changes in condition to nursing staff
- Help patients with mobility, including transfers and ambulation
- Provide emotional support to patients and their families
- Maintain cleanliness and safety in patient rooms and care areas
- Follow care plans as prescribed by physicians and nursing staff
- Accurately document patient information and provide timely updates
- Assist with patient positioning to prevent bedsores and ensure comfort
- Ensure that patient needs are met with respect, dignity, and empathy
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide comprehensive care
- Ensure a clean, safe environment for both patients and staff
Qualifications:
- Current LNA certification in the state of New Hampshire
- CPR and First Aid certification required
- Previous experience in healthcare or long-term care is preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
- Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care
- Ability to assist with patient mobility and lifting as needed
Schedule and Compensation:
- Shift Hours: 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM
- Contract Length: 14 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
