Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Room (ER)
Location: Casper, WY
Duration: 13-week Contract (Possibility of Extension)
Shift: Night Shift | 3x12-hour shifts (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM)
Guaranteed Hours: 24 hours per week (36 hours scheduled; facility may cancel 1 shift/week)

For Travelers/Stipend Candidates (If your permanent address is outside the 50 mile radius from the facility) (If 40 Hours per week is achieved):
Blended Hourly W2 Pay Rate:      $67.00
Blended Weekly Gross Pay Rate:  $2,448.00
Minimum Hourly W2 Pay Rate:    $32.00
Min. W2 Weekly Gross (Taxable):  $1,152.00
Weekly Stipend (Non-Taxable):    $1,296

For Traveler 1099 Candidates:
Pay Rate on 1099 to the Candidate: $70.00
Weekly 1099 Traveler Pay Rate:       $2,520.00

Job Description:

The Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) provides prompt, efficient, and compassionate care to patients experiencing acute medical conditions in a fast-paced ER setting. This role demands advanced clinical skills, critical thinking, and the ability to work under pressure. The RN collaborates with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to provide holistic, evidence-based care to patients of all ages.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to emergency patients in accordance with established policies and procedures
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care needs quickly and accurately
• Monitor vital signs, administer medications, initiate IVs, and perform life-saving interventions as needed
• Operate emergency medical equipment and follow trauma protocols
• Collaborate with physicians and other team members to stabilize patients
• Document all assessments, interventions, and outcomes clearly and promptly
• Float to units where experienced, if needed
• Respond to emergency codes and participate in crisis management

Certification & Requirements:

Required Experience:

• Minimum 24 months of recent Emergency Room RN experience – REQUIRED

Required Licensure:

• Active Wyoming RN License – REQUIRED

Required Certifications: (All must be active and from AHA or American Red Cross)

• ACLS – Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support
• BLS – Basic Life Support
• PALS – Pediatric Advanced Life Support
• TNCC – Trauma Nursing Core Course
