Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - OR
Location: North St, Pittsfield, MA 01201
Duration: 13 weeks (with possibilities of extension)
Shift: 11:00AM – 9:30PM
Guaranteed Hours: 40
Pay Details:

Blended Hourly W2 Pay Rate: $77.00
Blended Weekly Gross Pay Rate: $3,080.00
Minimum Hourly W2 Pay Rate: $39.00
Min. W2 Weekly Gross (Taxable): $1,560.00
Weekly Stipend (Non-Taxable): $1,520.00
OR
For Traveler 1099 Candidates:
Pay Rate on 1099 to the Candidate: $80.00
Weekly 1099 Traveler Pay Rate: $3,200.00
Position Overview:
We are looking for an experienced and compassionate Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) to join our surgical team. The OR RN will be responsible for providing direct nursing care during all phases of the surgical process, ensuring patient safety, and supporting the surgical team for optimal outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare the operating room with necessary equipment, instruments, and supplies
- Assist in the preoperative preparation of patients, including verification of surgical procedures
- Monitor patients’ vital signs and maintain a sterile environment during surgery
- Provide intraoperative assistance to surgeons and anesthesia providers
- Ensure accurate documentation of surgical procedures and patient responses
- Handle instruments, specimens, and medications according to protocols
- Advocate for patient safety and respond quickly to emergencies or complications
- Participate in postoperative care and hand-off communication to recovery teams
- Adhere to infection control, safety, and nursing best practices
Requirements:
- Active RN license (Massachusetts)/Compact
- BLS Certification.
- General, Ortho, Neuro, Urology, Vascular and Bariatric Surgical experience - Required
