Job Description:
We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Home Caregiver to provide support and assistance to an 81-year-old senior citizen in the Los Angeles (90016) and Arcadia (91006) areas. The ideal candidate will be responsible for helping with daily activities such as guiding the individual to the washroom, assisting with feeding, and ensuring their overall well-being.
Location: Los Angeles, CA 90016 and Arcadia, CA 91006
Hours: 12-16 hours/Day
Compensation: $16 to $18 per hour
Responsibilities:
- Assist the senior citizen with activities of daily living, including mobility and personal care.
- Escort them to the washroom and provide necessary support.
- Aid in feeding, ensuring nutritional needs are met.
- Provide companionship and emotional support.
- Maintain a safe and comfortable living environment.
- Follow care plans and instructions from healthcare professionals.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in caregiving or a related field.
- Compassionate and patient nature.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to assist with mobility and personal care.
- Understanding of the needs of senior citizens.
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
