About the Role:

Under the guidance of our Airport Operations Supervisor, you’ll be part of the crew responsible for inspecting and maintaining the safety, security, and efficiency of our airfield and facilities. Compensation:

What You’ll Do:
- Inspects runways, taxiways, aircraft parking aprons, and fuel facilities for hazards to assure compliance with the Airport Certification Manual and FAA Part 139, coordinates with appropriate parties for corrective actions
- Issues NOTAMS and other airfield advisories to provide situational awareness of operating environment
- Monitors airfield safety and security; coordinates, reports, and ensures necessary corrective actions are taken
- Collaborate with FAA Air Traffic Control facility regarding aircraft operations
- Coordinates and monitors airfield construction activities for compliance with applicable FAA and TSA rules and regulations; reports violations to appropriate parties
- Interprets, assists, and enforces airport rules and regulations, policies and procedures, and local airport ordinance
- Performs additional related work as required

Licenses or Certifications:

- Ability to obtain and maintain movement and non-movement driver certification within 3 months of employment
- AAAE ASOS Basic (required or must obtain within 12 months of hire)
- AAAE ASOS Advanced (required or must obtain within 24 months of hire)
- ICS 100 and 200 (required or must obtain within 12 months of hire)
- OSHA 10-hour course (required or must obtain within 12 months of hire)
Work Hours:
The work schedule follows a modified DuPont system with 12-hour shifts, either from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM or from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. The rotation pattern consists of 2 days on, 2 days off, then 3 days on, 2 days off, followed by 2 days on and 3 days off. This cycle repeats for 2 months, after which the shifts alternate between day and night.
