Compensation:
Maximum – Based on experience
Minimum - $82,662.23
What You’ll Do:
• Coordinate and manages the work of professional consultants with emphasis on facility architecture and engineering components and utility systems related to building systems design and construction of mid -sized commercial type construction projects.
• Coordinates the planning, development, review, and construction of assigned projects.
• Evaluates technical concepts and details related to general architecture, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing project management, new technologies and systems, such as energy management systems, and technologies to improve airport operational efficiency and reduce energy consumption and costs.
• Collaborates and assists in the management of building infrastructure and systems lifecycle from concept, design, construction, and commissioning (rehabilitation, and replacement)
• Reviews construction documents, studies, and technical reports for contract compliance with program objectives, budget, and schedule.

• Bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, or closely related field OR equivalent related work experience
Experience:
Required:
• 5 years of project management experience including design document reviews, cost estimating, specification reviews and construction administration, or 10 years of field experience specific to the architectural discipline.
Preferred:
• 10 or more years of experience in project management.
• 5 years of building technical experience
• Facilities related project management including experience with building systems (MEP, Low voltage electrical, construction and building trades general knowledge)
• Experience in all aspects of design and construction, renovation, and repairs to mid-sized commercial construction projects, preferably at airports or intermodal transportation hubs.
• Experience in working with multi-building institutions or campus environments.

• NC-licensed Professional Architect (AIA)
