Job Responsibilities:
You will provide critical intensive care to medical and surgical patients, and when needed, care for cardiac patients. You will assist with therapies, including but not limited to: vasoactive drug administration, anti-arrhythmic drug administration, thrombolytic therapy, and ventilator support.
You will also assist with monitoring of Swan-Ganz, central venous pressure, arterial lines, electrocardiogram, and bedside glucose monitoring, parenteral and enteral nutritional support, continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT), peritoneal dialysis, and acute hemodialysis performed by a hemodialysis nurse.
Qualifications:
To be eligible for this position, you must have a Graduate degree in Nursing and current licensure by the West Virginia State Board of Nursing. You must also possess certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and TNCC.
