Compensation
The range displayed reflects the range the company reasonably expects to pay for the position. The actual compensation offered to the selected individual(s) will depend on their relevant education, training, or experience, among other bona fide factors.
Expected Minimum Pay Rate
USD $275,000.00/Yr.Expected Maximum Pay Rate
USD $300,000.00/Yr.Responsibilities
What You Will Do
As the Vice President, Controller, you will provide strategic direction and oversight of the Raley’s financial, accounting and tax operations, to include the production of regulatory and financial reports, budget and forecasts, and a comprehensive set of controls designed to mitigate risk and enhance the accuracy of the company's reported financial results. In this role, you will develop and maintain financial procedures regarding the company’s inventories as well as collaborate with external auditors on the annual financial statement audit. This position will be based in our Raley’s West Sacramento, CA Support Center and have team members across multiple locations, including Chandler, Arizona.
How You will Make a Difference
- As a servant leader, you will provide executive leadership to the Finance team including but not limited to Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets, Sales Audit, General Ledger, Payroll, HR Support, Accounting Systems, and Tax and Treasury teams.
- You will direct the strategy and execution of all accounting activities to ensure financial goals are achieved by leading the finance team.
- You will collaborate with divisional leaders and lead the creation of accounting plans that allow the enterprise to achieve strategic goals.
- You will make a significant contribution to the leadership team by developing and implementing financial reports and analysis that will be used in Board and Committee meetings.
- You will lead the financial statement audit and other regulatory audits as needed while ensuring compliance with financial reporting requirements and tax filings.
- You will lead the Company’s treasury and tax functions.
- As a member of the Executive Leadership Team, you will present at various meetings and participate on company steering committees.

Must Haves
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field and a minimum of ten or more (10 ) years of experience in a financial reporting or accounting role, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Management experience is required for this role.
- Advanced knowledge ERP systems is required, SAP is preferred.
- CPA or MBA are highly preferred.
