Rallye Mercedes , Long Island's premier Mercedes-Benz dealership, has immediate opportunities for Express Technicians, Tire Technicians & Quality Control Technicians! Seeking motivated, reliable individuals looking to join a team whose values are based in teamwork and delivering the highest caliber of customer service.
Express Technician Responsibilities :
- Work closely with the Diagnostic Technician; report to the Service Manager, Shop Foreman, and Dispatcher.
- Mount, rotate, balance and change tires.
- Examine the vehicle to identify necessary repair or maintenance items that may not be included on the repair order, and communicate to Service Advisor.
- Communicate with the Parts Department to obtain parts. Follow warranty material disposition procedures.
- Notify Service Advisor immediately if additional work is needed, if work outlined on repair order is not needed, or if repairs cannot be completed by the time promised.
- Clearly and accurately document all work performed.
- Road test vehicles as required, or refer to the inspection technician as appropriate.
- Only perform work that is authorized by the customer or by the warranty.
- Inform Service Advisor and Foreman of all work that cannot be finished by the end of the shift.
